Late April through May. Late April–May offers the best combination of Yosemite's famous attributes with manageable crowds. Waterfalls peak in mid-to-late May from snowmelt, making this the ideal window to see Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Fall, and others at full strength. Temperatures are comfortable (average highs 68–72°F in the Valley). Summer crowds have not yet fully arrived and reservation requirements are less stringent. Note: Tioga Road and Glacier Point Road typically remain closed until late May or early June
